Street Lab is a nonprofit that creates and shares extraordinary programs for public space across New York City—pop-up reading rooms, open-air drawing studios, and even obstacle courses for children. They also send kits around the world so that others can do the same. We closely work with Street Lab founders Sam and Leslie Davol and other designers to develop prototypes and new designs.
The Kiosks are always being refined as they go through continuous “road testing”. Streetlab is dynamic and responsive and works directly with the NYC Mayor’s, DOT and Cultural Affairs offices to develop new programming.
